Turkish Education/ Student can be issued to international students who are planning to study in Turkey. Turkish Education Visa can be issued into two form that depends up on the nationality of the visitors. One can get Turkish Education visa in the form of e-Visa or Turkish Sticker Visa or Turkish visa upon the arrival for the national of eligible country. Few students are exempt from Education visa in Turkey and they are:

Student Residence permit required documents.
After entering to Turkey students need to apply for Turkey Residence permit to stay in Turkey beyond the 90 days at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Administration.
For getting a student residence permit you need to provide following documents:
- Application form
- Passport with photocopies of student visa
- Proof of university acceptance
- Four passport size-coloured photographs.
Residence permit will be valid for one year and you can extend it 60 days before expiration by local authorities with application.

After Arriving in Turkey
When you are having a Turkey Education visa and you are arrived to Turkey after that you need to register yourself to the nearest local police department in Turkey. And after that you have to apply for a residence permit at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Administration.
After getting the residence permit that is known as “ikamet” in Turkey, you can live there, can open a bank account and do many more things. However, you need to apply for extension of ikamet six weeks before the expiration.
